Love, Makoto

Stopped at this location after the Rose blossoms Festival. Very walkable and nice atmosphere at this location. The food that was ordered was amazing. The fried chicken was tender and juicy, and all the dipping sauces were great with it. The sushi tasted fresh and very, very delicious. Very nice little bar to sit down and have a conversation with a few friends nice little atmosphere and a lot of other little restaurants and locations inside this location which made it very unique. Service was very good and attentive and felt like We were at the center of attention, even though the bar where we sat was very full. This place is a small plates place where you can order a bunch of different small plates and share with the table so definitely kind of convenient to try a lot of different things.

Beloved Barbecue at Love, Makoto is an amazing choice for a special occasion. My first birthday event of the year was a dinner date and he chose this restaurant. It went well only because of the amazing, professional staff and good food, because the date was a flop. I started with the oysters and a drink as I waited for him to get there. The oysters were amazing. Once he arrived I ordered the omakaze option. At the end they brought out a slice of very rich chocolate cake and snapped a Polaroid which was very sweet. I wish my back wasn't to the kitchen in my photos but I don't face the door when I'm with a gentleman. I want to make special mention of my waitress. I wish I wrote down her name for this review. She was excellent. She may have been the most professional waitress I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She truly saved the experience for me. I will be back without the date.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Love, Makoto, and it was an exceptional experience. My girlfriend made the reservation, and we both enjoyed the Today’s Omakase, which was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The entire team was incredibly kind and professional, making our service outstanding. They even surprised me with a special birthday dessert and took a photo of us, which they presented in a custom-made card—a thoughtful touch that made the evening unforgettable. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I highly recommend Love, Makoto to anyone looking for a refined and memorable Japanese steakhouse experience.

We came to Love, Makoto to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely worth it! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was amazing; everyone was so kind and attentive, which made our night even more special. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

Everything else now is plastic. This place makes me question everything. Did I even have ginger or wasabi til now? I had the omakase… and super sized it. If you have any doubts and are wearing stretchy pants, do it! Super-size it. It’s so fresh and love the way you are to eat the sushi old school, then new school of each type of sushi. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an experience.

I went for lunch and had the Omakase Express at Love, Makoto and wow — every bite was amazing! It’s such a fun way to taste a variety of their food. I also had the Zero Proof Kabosu Colada, which was super refreshing and so delicious. Highly recommend this spot — 200% worth it! Robin and Brittany were kind and very knowledgeable about all menus. See you guys tomorrow for dinner

Celebrated my birthday with their omakase express menu! Robin & Alexis were so accommodating and friendly. We loved sushi already (and had AYCE earlier in the weekend) but this experience elevated our love for sushi. Thank you for going out of your way to make my day so special!
